Born Free Fishing Charters

When you charter a Born Free boat we want you to have a great experience whether you choose to fish or go snorkeling, picnicking, or site-seeing. We are proud of our three boats, BORN FREE, BORN FREE II AND BORN FREE IV have been in service over twenty years providing the best in deep-sea providing the Best in fishing and boat charters.

Our captains are all well experienced and know very well the different methods of deep-sea fishing. They know great spots to fish and where to locate the prettiest coral reefs around Nassau to snorkel. We pride ourselves on having so many return customers year after year.

We’re close to Florida and the Florida Keys so you can easily pop over for a short weekend of great deep sea fishing. Think about our warm tropical weather as you hurry in from the cold and snow of the northern U.S.

The Best Fishing Charter Boats In the Bahamas

OUR CHARTER SERVICE opened in 1978 with the BORN FREE II, a 35-foot Allman sport fisher. Its capacity is six people per charter.

There is a small cabin and bathroom and a covered deck with benches to get out of the sun. Sit upstairs with the captain and enjoy the amazing view and spot your own catch.

BORN FREE joined the charter service in 1986. It is a 48-foot Chris Craft. It was completely refurbished from bow to stern including installation of new engines in the fall of 2002.

Capacity is 20 people but we recommend 6-8 on board for a fishing charter. The boat has a comfortable salon, bathroom, and large cockpit with a fighting chair. It will provide the best for a day of deep sea fishing.

BORN FREE IV was added in 1993. It is the sister ship to Born Free but is a fully equipped luxury yacht with 2 bathrooms, galley, private stateroom and large deck for sunning.

Capacity is 20 people, but again we recommend keeping the group to 6-8 people for a great fishing trip.

All of our boats are equipped with the best Penn International rods and reels for deep-sea fishing and light tackle fishing. We use primarily ballyhoo with different lures for bait.
